Minimate Nina: Customisation Gallery 1

One of the joys of Minimates that I'm only beginning to tap into is their uniform nature and simple construction; with every figure sharing largely the same body, held together the same way, and none of it glued or bolted in place, it's both easy and fun to mix and match parts across multiple figures, winding up with neat custom replacements for characters not yet created by Art Asylum - or, if you're anything like me, a load of abject nonsense.

Today, it occurred to me how much this reminded me of the character customisation features in the more recent Tekken games - which means it's time for more Nina love!

Starting off with one assembled purely from the Street Fighter X Tekken first wave, it's Boxing Nina!  Or maybe Kickboxing Nina, I don't know:

Parts used: Nina's head and hair, Poison's torso and arms, Steve Fox' gloves/hands,
and Sagat's hips and legs.

More after the jump!
Nina's all dressed up (in something possibly stolen from her sister's wardrobe) with nowhere to go in this trashy classy leopard-print dress.  And before you ask, the barely-perceptible black lines on the bottom of her feet are meant to symbolize shoes.  Nina doesn't go barefoot at parties unless she needs freedom of motion to kick someone's ass.

Parts used:  Nina's head and hair, everything else from Natasha Romanov (Iron Man 2 series).

When Earth needs defending and the Avengers are busy, Samuel L. 'Nick Fury' Jackson knows who to call - it's Nina Williams: Agent of SHIELD!  (also an easy custom fill-in for a movie-styled Sharon Carter, Marvel fans)

Parts used:  Nina's head & hair, everything else from Maria Hill (Marvel's Avengers series).

 I can't say for certain that Nina believes in magic - certainly she seems scornful or mistrustful of anything beyond her usual, rational world of experience.  But if she did ever dabble in the dark arts, this Ancient Mystic Nina might well match her appearance:

Parts used:  Nina's head, torso and arms; helmet and Gungnir spear from Loki (Thor movie series);
shoulder armour, skirt/loincloth, legs and fireball from Dormammu (Marvel vs. Capcom 3 series).

And because I know how you all like to feel simultaneously aroused, awkward and ashamed (because I do too!), we'll end with some dominatrix-inspired lingerie for our girl:

Parts used:  Nina's head & hair; torso from Trish (Marvel vs. Capcom 3 series);
arms & legs from Ms. Marvel (Marvel core series 19).

Now go take a shower or something.
